Pune, April 6, 2025 – In a heart-touching incident that highlights the efficiency and dedication of the Bibwewadi Police, an 8-year-old girl who had gone missing early in the morning was safely reunited with her parents within just two hours.
According to reports, the child’s mother approached the Bibwewadi Police Station around 7:50 AM, stating that her daughter had been missing since 6:45 AM while playing outside near their home in Bibwewadi, Pune. The family had searched for over an hour before filing the complaint.
Police Action and Search Operation
Taking the case very seriously, Senior Police Inspector Mr. Shankar Salunke visited the area immediately and instructed a full-scale search operation. Under the guidance of Deputy Commissioner Dr. Rajkumar Shinde and Assistant Commissioner Dnyankumar Godse, PSI Ashok Yewale and his team, along with beat marshals and CR mobile unit officers, were deployed in different directions.
The team analyzed CCTV footage and spotted the girl walking towards a deserted area near Yashraj Garden. Officers rushed to the location and found the young girl crying and scared but safe. She was promptly brought back and handed over to her relieved parents.
