Global Solidarity Day: Over 20 Activists Hold 7-Hour Outreach at FC Road; Engages with Over 250 Citizens

PUNE, INDIA — In a major public outreach effort for animal rights and ethical living, local advocacy groups ‘We The Free Pune’ and ‘Pune Animal Liberation’ jointly organized a special 7-hour street campaign outside the main gate of Fergusson College on FC Road to mark Global Solidarity Day.

Over 20 dedicated volunteers participated in the day-long event, directly interacting with more than 250 citizens to discuss animal rights, veganism, and conscious dietary choices.

The “3-Minute Movie Challenge”

As part of the global movement celebrated simultaneously across cities worldwide, activists conducted the “3-Minute Movie Challenge” on FC Road. Passersby were invited to watch a brief 3-minute video highlighting standard practices within animal agriculture, followed by a open discussion on ethical consumption and plant-based living.
