HCL Tech reported better-than-expected financial results for the second quarter (Q2). The company’s net profit rose nearly 7% QoQ to ₹8,408 crore, exceeding analysts’ estimates of around ₹8,200 crore.
Constant Currency Revenue, however, saw a less-than-expected decline of 3.7%. Analysts had predicted a growth of 4% to 5%.
Despite this, HCL Tech maintains a strong order book and deals pipeline, indicating potential for future growth. HCL Tech’s CEO and MD, C Vijayakumar, said, “We are pleased with our Q2 performance, supported by a strong order book and deals pipeline. We are seeing strong growth in digital, cloud and engineering services.”
