PCMC : Fraud Case Filed Against Business Partner in Pune

Pune News : A fraud case has been registered against three individuals and others at the Mahalunge MIDC police station for allegedly embezzling over ₹4.77 crore. The case involves a warehouse business located in Kuruli, Khed, Pune.

The complaint was filed by Shrikant Mohan Thuse, a 61-year-old businessman from Karve Nagar, Pune. Thuse is a 50% registered partner in M/s Gauri Warehouse, which is situated on land parcels Survey No. 144/A/1, 144/A/2, and 144/A/3, totaling 104.5 gunthas in Kuruli, Khed.

According to the complaint, from April 17, 2007, to the present day, the accused, identified as Bhausaheb Nana Patare, a female accomplice, and Ganesh Bhausaheb Patare, along with others, conspired to commit fraud. They allegedly created bogus documents and forged Thuse’s signatures to present the property as their own.

The complaint states that the accused collected a total of ₹10,69,88,182 in rent for the godown but failed to give Thuse his rightful 50% share of ₹4,77,99,091, using the funds for their personal gain.

The accused have not yet been arrested. The case is being investigated by Assistant Police Inspector Bhilare of the Economic Offenses Wing, Pimpri-Chinchwad.
