Pune Crime Story: Katraj Man Killed in Kondhwa Over Money Dispute – Two Accused, One Arrested

Kondhwa, Pune – A shocking murder case has surfaced in Pune, where a 52-year-old man from Katraj was brutally attacked and killed using a stone, allegedly over a money-related dispute. The incident took place between the night of May 10th and evening of May 11th, 2025, near Parsi Maidan, Jyoti Hotel Chowk, Kondhwa.

According to the FIR no. 382/2025 registered at Kondhwa Police Station, the deceased, Subhash Raghuveer Pardeshi, was allegedly attacked by Abhay Jagannath Kadam (24), resident of Talim Chowk, Bhairavnath Ali, Kondhwa Khurd, and Badal Shyam Sherkar (24), resident of Badhe Chawl, behind Bhairavnath Temple, Kondhwa.

Out of the two accused, Badal Sherkar has been arrested, while further investigation is ongoing regarding the involvement of the second accused.

🔍 Details of the Incident:

The complaint was filed by the 50-year-old wife of the deceased, who resides in Gokulnagar, Katraj-Kondhwa Road. According to her statement, both accused had a dispute with her husband over money. In a fit of rage, they allegedly assaulted him using a stone, hitting him on the head and face, causing severe injuries that resulted in his death.
