Pune: The Maharashtra government has approved the proposal to construct an underground tunnel for vehicles between Yerwada and Katraj. This ambitious project, proposed by PMRDA, includes two separate tunnels and is expected to cost around ₹7,500 crore.
Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Chief Minister Eknath Shinde have given the green light for this major infrastructure development. The tunnel aims to ease traffic congestion and provide a faster, smoother commute for Pune residents.
