A domestic worker has alleged that she was abused by two society members in Pune on August 16. The victim, Sarika Jadhav, 40, works as a housekeeping maid for MP Residency in Marunji.

According to Jadhav, she was cleaning the society’s B wing when she was approached by the accused, Anurag Alkunte, 25, and his mother, Sangeeta Alkunte, 50. The accused started abusing and threatening Jadhav, and then slapped her. They also warned her that if she went to the police, they would face consequences.

Jadhav and her daughter, who witnessed the incident, are in great grief. They went to the Hinjewadi police station to file a complaint, but the police did not file an FIR. Instead, they asked Jadhav not to go to the society for work anymore.

This is not the first time that the accused have been accused of wrongdoing. In the past, they have allegedly broken the society’s CCTV cameras and terrorized residents. They have also claimed to have strong police connections.

The police’s inaction in this case has angered the residents of MP Residency. They have demanded that the police take action against the accused and ensure the safety of all the residents, including the domestic workers.

The case is currently being investigated by the Hinjewadi police.

In the interest of confidentiality, the names of the victim and the accused have been changed.
