Pune: Three men attempt to murder 22-year-old
Pune, India – January 2, 2024 – Three men attempted to murder a 22-year-old man in Pune on Wednesday night, police said.
The victim, identified as Shubhm Kshirsagar, was walking home from work when he was attacked by the three men, who were reportedly known to him. The men punched and kicked Kshirsagar, and then used a sharp object to stab him in the neck, cheek, and under his ear.
Kshirsagar’s friend, Sanket Wadkar, who was also walking home, heard the commotion and came to Kshirsagar’s aid. Wadkar was also beaten by the men, but he was not seriously injured.
Kshirsagar was taken to a local hospital, where he is in stable condition.
The police are still searching for the three suspects.
